Public Speaking Rocks!
I love talking! I love talking to an audience. I love getting paid to talk to an audience too!
I never used to be any good, because I would stammer and rush through and be all nervous, but it was always a dream of mine to do public speaking.
As a school prefect, I had to hold assembly a few times and ended up MCing end of school concerts and the like.
Years later I did a communication course with The Trinity College of London. I loved it, I won categories at competitions. I learned to s l o w down.
I presented workshops, I spoke professionally for some events, had a stint at a community radio station, tried some stand-up comedy, did a voice over course and made over 400 skits 'live' during Lockdown.
